Lockerbie bomber freed, believed innocent by many
Alleged Lockerbie bomber, Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, landed in Libya to a hero's welcom. Libyans view Megrahi as a scapegoat used by the West to reinforce its depiction of Libya as a pariah state.
